Bobby & Bella - Litter B
We had never bought pedigree kittens before. However, Shanthi at Chrysolite British Shorthairs was very welcoming and helped us through the whole process. It was clear from the first video chat with Shanthi that she cares so deeply for all her cats, which was vital for us when purchasing from a breeder.
Shanthi allowed us to view the kittens in her home with their mum and siblings. From the moment we saw Bobby and Bella, we fell in love with them and just knew we wanted to take them home. At first, Bella seemed a little shy compared to her ultra laid-back brothers. After a couple of days in her new home with us, she came out of her shell and is now the most loving and affectionate cat there is.
Bobby also has a lovely temperament and is still just as easy-going and laid-back as when we first saw him. Shanthi regularly checks in on the cats and is pleased to see picture updates from them. She has been great in offering support and advice for the British Shorthair breed, and we couldn't be happier with our beautiful fur babies.
Carmen Miranda - Litter C (Button - Moon)
Button-Moon came to us at 16 weeks and has been a complete joy from day one. She arrived relaxed and really well socialised. She has a perfect temperament - Calm, loyal and affectionate mixed with a strong streak of independence and quiet confidence. She loves her daily playtimes and spending her chill-out time watching the squirrels and birds from the top of her tree house. - We could not have asked for a better experience from our breeder or to have found a more perfect addition to our little family.
Chrysolite Charlize Theron (Charlie).
Charlie is a real sweetie and has settled in really well. She loves the garden and being outdoors but always comes in at night and sleeps on our daughter’s bed. Lovely to hear how her sisters are doing! Charlie is playful and loves attention. She is a very inquisitive cat and we are super happy she’s part of our family!
Renesmee Sens Lavre (Remy) - mother of litter C
We had to take the difficult decision to spay Remy when she had to have a c section this year. She had had a difficult birth and we did not want to risk her having to go through that again. Remy had settled in really well and loved being an only cat in her new home. ‘Remy follows us everywhere and is obsessed with her toys and likes sitting next to them. She had has got into a routine of meowing for meal time and playtime and loves playing chase the ball and spends hours kicking it and hunting it herself.’
